Witch’es Web Red Bean Hummus

I often make red bean hummus as a side dish or dip but as it is Halloween, naturally it needed a little Halloween bling!  Behold Witch’s Web Hummus, a wickedly good party dip.

Hummus is usually made from chickpeas but in fact, it is very versatile. You can make it with any type of beans, peas or lentils. The choice is yours.

Just remember that if you are using dried beans you will have to soak some varieties first. Red kidney beans need to be soaked overnight, so unless you prepare in advance, buying a tin is probably easier (and safer).
